#100 Darth
Well here we are. 100 whole days of daily painting! And so many of you have patiently and lovingly cheered me on the whole way. I am so grateful.
My final subject could only be our inimitable cat, Darth, who today defied all the odds. Two weeks ago we were told that he likely didn’t have long to live — the vet had found a large mass in his mouth that ninety nine times out of a hundred means very aggressive cancer and a very bleak prognosis, but the biopsy results today put him firmly in that lucky 1%. The mass is due to a very rare benign condition, which is virtually unheard of when it comes to mouth growths in cats, and apart from needing some teeth removed, he should be absolutely fine.
We are overjoyed. He’s a terror, but he’s our terror. We love him so much.
And how lovely to be able to end my project this way!
Thank you so much for being here through the last few weeks. It’s meant so much to me.
Ah, but now I have a favour to ask: will you stick around a while? Tomorrow I will be back with my plans for what’s next. I really hope you’ll join me.
This is a 100 Day Project in which I attempt to paint a shape every day. For more words, check out bimblings.

Darth's nine lives still in credit 👍
Have loved your 100 days! So glad Darth is OK, our fur babies are so precious 🐾🤗
