I didn’t pack *quite* enough pairs of pants, so today’s holiday activity was a trip to the laundrette. I LOVE laundrettes. The scent of washing powder and hot tumble dryers. The sound. The quiet as you wait. I used to spend a lot of time in my neighbourhood one down the road before it closed and I have missed it. (Boy, did it used to be cheaper though!)

I love the smell of washing and regularly as a child my siblings and I would walk the mile with a black bin bag full of the big items like sheets to the launderette and we were great at folding them afterwards.Happy times xx
